Anxiety

It is estimated that nearly one in four people will suffer from an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. This includes, but is not limited to, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive behavior, post-traumatic stress responses and social phobias.

Symptoms and Behaviors Related to Anxiety:


  • Constant, excessive worrying
  • Always anticipating danger
  • Frequent headaches, sweating and muscle spasms
  • Heart palpitations
  • A feeling of the inability to breathe
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Demonstrates restlessness or agitation
  • May frequently look or feel fatigued or exhausted
  • May engage in pulling out hair on head, eyebrows or eyelashes
